Dental implants are of different types in size and shape, this leads to different osseointegration times. The traditional Implant

The traditional implant is based on the insertion of 6/8 arch implants on which crown bridges are installed. In this case the osseointegration times vary from one week to a few months depending on the patient’s clinical condition and the type of implant used.

E’ basato sull’innesto di 6/8 impianti per arcata sui quali vengono installati dei ponti di corone. In questo caso i tempi di osteointegrazione variano da una settimana ad alcuni mesi in funzione delle condizioni cliniche del paziente e del tipo di impianto utilizzato.

The All on Four

The All on four is based on the concept that the crown bridge is installed only on four titanium implants that are grafted into the bone with a particular technique. This implantology technique is used when the patient has a bone situation which does not allow the installation of a greater number of implants. However, this installation requires osseointegration times similar to those of the traditional implant.

Si basa sul concetto che il ponte di corone viene installato solamente su quattro impianti in titanio che vengono innestati nell’osso con una tecnica particolare. Questa tecnica implantologica viene utilizzata quanto il paziente presenta una situazione ossea che non consente di installare un numero maggiore di impianti. Questa installazione necessita comunque di tempi di osteointegrazione simili a quelli dell’impianto tradizionale.

The immediate Loading

The immediate loading is the last frontier of implantological care and allows the patient to install fixed prostheses only 72 hours after surgery. It should be noted that in the first installation, a soft resin prosthesis is always mounted in the patient’s mouth which is then replaced, after about two months, by the definitive prosthesis. The big advantage is that mechanically the patient can use his teeth to eat after a couple of weeks after surgery, and he already has a fixed prosthesis in his mouth.

E’ l’ultima frontiera delle cure implantologiche e permette al paziente di installare delle protesi fise dopo solo 72 ore dall’intervento. Va precisato che nella prima installazione nella bocca del paziente viene sempre montata una protesi in resina morbida che poi viene sostituita, dopo circa due mesi, dalla protesi definitiva. Il grande vantaggio è che meccanicamente il paziente può utilizzare i denti per mangiare da dopo un paio di settimane dall’intervento, ed ha già una protesi fissa in bocca.

I tipi di corone

Le corone, come detto, sono i denti in materiale composito che sostituiscono i denti naturali del paziente. Così come ci sono differenti tipologie di impianti e di tecniche implantologiche, vi sono anche differenti tipologie di corone in base ai materiali di cui sono fatte. Il materiale determina la resistenza e, soprattutto, l’estetica del risultato finale. Infatti le classiche corone in metallo ceramica, che vengono utilizzate da parecchi anni, hanno grossi limiti estetici. Per questa ragione sono state sostituite, da circa venti anni, dalle corone in ceramica zirconio che sono più resistenti, hanno un minore passaggio del caldo e del freddo e, soprattutto, hanno un risultato estetico molto più simile ai denti naturali del paziente. Per chi poi volesse avere i denti perfettamente bianchi, uguale a quello delle star del cinema, si può utilizzare l’E-max un materiale che consente appunto di avere quello che si definisce il “sorriso di Hollywood”.

Referto medico che spieghi al paziente il perché vengono fatte determinate cure e non altre, inlcuse quelle non riguardanti l’implantologia (estrazioni, devitalizzazioni, etc).
Il piano e la durata delle cure dentali che è importante perché il paziente deve poter organizzare il suo soggiorno all’estero.
Il numero degli impianti e delle corone che vengono installati. Installare un numero diverso di impianti e/o corone significa avere prezzi differenti.
Indicazioni chiare sui prodotti ed i materiali che vengono utilizzati. Questo perché in commercio ci sono tanti tipi di materiali molto diversi far loro. Si possono trovare impianti in titanio coreani, cinesi, tedeschi, italiani, americani, etc. Ogni uno di essi ha una differente qualità e, chiaramente, un differente prezzo.
Indicazioni precise sulla garanzia che viene fornita a fine lavori.
La richiesta, da parte delle clinica odontoiatrica, di una scheda anamnestica del paziente in quanto certe patologie (come ad esempio il diabete) possono influire sul tempo di osteointegrazione degli impianti o possono rappresentare un impedimento all’innesto degli impianti che resta sempre una operazione chirurgica.
